Pop-Up Arrangement Conference

In the funertal industry, the arrangement conference is when families come to the funeral home after experincing a death to make funeral arrangements.  The Pop-Up Arrangement Conference is a free event that encourages you to come and learn about what to expect when a death occurs.  Click the button below to RSVP at apexart.org.  

Maura Bobbitt and a group of Mortuary Science volunteers from San Antonio College will be on site to explain typical funeral merchandise, legal disposition methods in Texas (burial, cremation, etc) and what sort of services are available to you.  

Alison and Shane Heneimeier of Kingsbury Museum Crates will be on site with examples of their 100% biodegradable funeral merchandise made locally in Kingsbury, TX.  

Casey Galloway, textile artist and instructor at Southwest School of Art, will be demonstrating how to dye a shroud for natural burial.  

A FREE NOTARY will be on site to notarize wills, advance directives, and other death-related documents.
